Oliva Nub Sungrown 464

December 20th, 2023: This is a 4 x 64 torpedo.

It is a Nicaraguan, with sungrown Ecuadorean Habano wrapper and Indonesian binder. Filler is Nicaraguan.

I smoked a few since opening the box. The first was rather mild to medium and lasted a mere 50 minutes. Body was a bit lacking. Aroma was rich.

The second was much more full bodied and I stretched it out over 80 minutes. The third was somewhere in the middle, lasting 65 minutes.

Burn and draw was good on all three, which I smoked to the nub without excessive heat.

Flavour was much reminiscent of the Serie V, medium to full bodied with a remarkably rich aroma. All three were satisfying, but the 85 minute was very satisfying.

February 19th: Excellent flavour and aroma, easy draw, excellent burn. The flavour was exceptionally smooth and full bodied, but 50 minutes was a bit unsatisfying. Better judgement kept me from lighting up a second one.

March 25th, 2024: Much like the previous. Excellent flavour, complexity, draw, burn, smooth and full bodied.

April 27th, 2024: Much like the previous, but probably stretched to 60 minutes with a little discipline.
